I agree with Krystal...Davina is so hopeful and encouraging. A great reminder of who we can be.
I on the other hand had one of those days yesterday where I found myself in the grocery store holding my child's face in my hands and whispering about taking away the popsicles if things didn't change. Clearly 9 hours of sleep didn't help me yesterday. But a walk and a rum and coke did! So glad that every day is a new day.
Today my children were angels, last night I was in bed by 11:30 and slept til 7:30, 8 hours. I did my stomach tape and got my hair done. Life is good again.
I did work late on the computer last night and as I was panicking, wondering if I would fall asleep by midnight I remembered a good tip: when I breathe I pretend my breath is the ocean waves coming in, going out. Then there is no room for any other thoughts. Then sleep comes, hopefully before midnight!
Laura - I love the breathing/ocean waves thing - that sounds so relaxing!
I too worked on the computer last night , went to bed at 11:30 and when my alarm went off at 6:00 decided I needed to sleep more so I could come here and comment. *wink* I got up at 7:00 am, so 7 1/2 hours of sleep - whew - that was close!
Last night 11-7:30am. Got up and walked 1/2 hour.
My youngest slept from 8-8, 12 hours!!! Needless to say he is in a great mood today! It's hard to stick to a schedule in summer but I sometimes forget that he is still little and needs more sleep. World leaders, small children, moms. I see a movement here. :)
yea. last night: in bed by 12, up at 9.
Bedtime: 12.20 a.m. (hey, friend in from Atlanta, gotta catch up!)

Bedtime 10:30, up at 6:45. Walked 9 miles. After a brief rest reading my PPA magazine we had "whole family clean the bathrooms time". It mostly worked. At least I didn't have to do it alone. :) And now they're clean!
friday night: bedtime 11:45, up at 9:15 ish? i can't exactly remember; it's been a long day. but my wedding was only 5 hours of shooting time, plus 2 hours of drive time. not bad overall. i was home by 5:30 which is AMAZING!! i wasn't really sure what to do with myself--home on a saturday evening. haha. my husband has enjoyed me being here. :D
laura, i just require copious amounts of sleep. i know when we have kids, it'll be a cruel reality!!!!!!!
Karen, you might as well store it up now.
Bedtime 11, up at 7:30. Pretty tired from my walk yesterday. Glad it's Sunday.
Well, Friday night was a lost cause - not close to 7 hours of sleep there - so I'm back to report that I got 8 hours last night! Yea!
