Move it Monday: Contest Revision
a little change.
So I want to really encourage everyone to get out and exercise today...and as many days this month as possible. So I have a plan.
I wanted to change thing up a little bit from the way we've been doing contests and still encourage everyone to consistently get some exercise.
So....I've changed the way you win the prize of UNO this month....
Once you've exercised at least 15 days this month you'll be on the list for a random drawing for the prize at the end of the month. So...it's not to late for anyone! We've still got more than 15 days in the month.
So go out and get walking, running, climbing, stair stepping today!

How do we let you know when we have done 15 days of exercise?
Love it! Last night we had a nutritionist come to our Women's Group (Finding Hope for women experiencing depression) - She gave the most beautiful meditation on celebrating our bodies and all they do for us. She encouraged us to go out and move and celebrate our bodies and all they do for us! I know my schedule is getting over booked when I am not able to go to yoga class. Thankfully with a guide dog -- a long walk is a necessity of each day. What a blessing.

Just post every day that you exercise on the Move it Monday post for the week. I'll count up your days of exercise at the end of the month and if you have at least 15 days of exercise posted here in the commnets you'll be added into the random drawing. :)

I know what you mean. I notice a difference in my moods and my ability to think with perspective when I'm making time for exercise. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah! Down to 131.5 today! Woo Hoo! I have been walking at least 3 miles (sometimes twice a day for a total of 6!!) every day for a couple of weeks now, and it's finally paying off! Cut back on all the junk..and mostly eating salads with some type of protein. Still eating old-fashioned oatmeal every morning, Thanks Davina for the inspiration!
Did an hour of aerobics yesterday, with some weightlifting for good measure. :)
What if I'm starting late as far as posting, but have exercised 9 days so far this month?
Four miles yesterday...walk, walk, walk, walk, walk!
This is great motivation! Looks like I have to start today and not miss a single day huH?! hmmmm.
Most days, it's twice around the "block"! Six miles...I think my dog is dropping weight!
An hour and a half around Arlington Ntl. Cemetary today. Not sure on a mile count, but it was certainly a big walk!!!!
Saturday...Small town parade...walked the whole thing with "my kids"! Walked in the evening with my neighbors.
I just now saw the comment so I don't know what to do about the day or two I've exercised before today :0

Still walking whenever I can squeeze it in! April/May has me working like crazy! Good and bad...love the jobs, hate sitting on my tail end editing photos!
Moving my son out of his college dorm room---does that count as heavy lifting?
