Women and Business: your burning questions.
tell me.
We have a stellar line up of women for you (click on their links to check them out) over the next few months in the Women and Business series. I want to know what it is you'd like to ask them. What burning question(s) do you have for them about business or managing life, photography, and motherhood? So exciting!!! You are an amazing woman Davina!
I love hearing how these women got the courage to go into business. What was it that made them feel ready to do this professionally? How did they build their confidence? Were there times when they thought they were crazy to even consider doing it? And how did they know they were "good enough"? Hearing about their fears makes them so much more real. And knowing that, even though they were afraid, they still did it and did it WELL is very inspiring.
Thanks for posting these, Davina!
I am also excited about all these!!! Thanks Davina!! I would like to know what one does when it just feels like there is so much work to do and I don't really feel like doing it anymore. I guess I need to know how to make it fun and still make a living at it, is that possible?
I, too, cannot wait for these interviews! I would love to know more tips/ideas on balancing work and life. I can do lots of photo sessions, but can get really bogged down in processing. I'm at my computer way too much! Would love to hear what others do.
I'm not sure if Jasmine Star or Lauren Clark have been nominated to be interviewed, SOOO if not...I nominate them!!!! ;-)
I am loving your blog!! Not even sure how I found you, oh wait, yeah - Jaclyn Kaiser. Anyways, I agree in nominating Jasmine Star, and also Michelle Anderson of pinkletoes (http://pinkletoes.com/blog/) and also Beth Armsheimer (betharmsheimer.com/blog).
And Bambi's quote was huge for me, as a starting out photog:
"How do you know when you’re ‘good enough’?
I’ve never felt that I’m good enough…."
Angie, great nominations for the series. Thanks! I've already interviewed Michelle of pinkletoes. Check her out here:http://davina.squarespace.com/journal/2009/6/11/women-and-business-michelle-anderson.html
I'm so glad that Bambi's interview was helpful to you. Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Have a great evening!
