I almost forgot it was Monday period! I'm sure you got a ton of exercise in! Wow! I actually did a lot of outdoor activity this weekend and I am SORE!! We went to the beach I did some very interesting stretching to get the shots I wanted. Based on how my muscles responded I think I have to count it as exercise!

Did a neighborhood jaunt with my sister today. It's amazing what some fresh air and sunshine on your face will do for you. I wasn't totally right until I took my nap later. :)

went west for wine tasting yesterday. no exercise. :(

BUT today we walked for 45 min, then I came home and turned over 1/4 of my garden by hand ... before I broke out the tiller. It's still a workout to use, but goes SO much more quickly. :)

I also tried to take off the last branch on the tree I intend to cut off, but then I realized I was 20 feet in the air, and have weddings the next 2 weekends, and don't have the time for a broken arm.

Love Washington, DC! Enjoy ... great place to get in some good walking. I moved it on Monday by mowing the lawn - last time - vision has definitely declined since last year - even with bare feet too dangerous for me! I realize as I typing that - bare feet sounds dangerous but used to be a way I could identify where I had mowed.

Rested my body and my brain today. sigh.

Wow Rebekah!!! Great going!

We're on spring break so today I took the kids with me on my walk. We walked to the coffee shop for lunch (chicken salad on salad), then to the library, then home, exploring the creek along the way.

It was nice to be out.

hey rebekah, i felt the same way when i started doing pilates. when i woke up the next morning, i honestly thought i had the flu b/c i was so achy. it gets better and better, and you'll really see yourself improve from week to week.

yesterday i walked for 30 minutes around my neighborhood. i'm excited with how well i'm sticking with this exercise (almost) everyday thing.

Had a good three mile walk today. I felt energized and strong. I realized why my walk Saturday was so hard. I'm in altitude at my parents and the whole way home was up hill! Okay for three miles, not okay for ten! Did some arm weight exercises when I was done.

Oh, and yesterday marked THREE MONTHS I've been doing weights at least twice a week. Go me! :)

GO Karen!

Walked for 30 minutes this morning. It's nice to walk in the morning as it starts the day off on the right "foot" and then it's done! Tomorrow is another biggie for me. I'll let you know how it goes...

Oh, sorry forgot to mention my workout for today, I'm off to a photo shoot! That is a workout, right?! Lot's of squatting and my legs always burn after! I want to go to this hilltop on the east side, so it'll be a little bit of a hike.

Today I walked eleven miles with my TEAM in Training. It was about as hard as ten miles but I had company so not so much mental anguish. Got my knee working but now am playing with plantar facitis on one foot. Nothing like a bowl full of ice water to dunk your feet in! http://pages.teamintraining.org/sf/rnr09/lcottril

hey ladies, i'm home early from my wedding today. wooo. that was my workout for today--8 hour wedding. yesterday i did some stuff at home for 25 min: push ups, crunches, back curls, arm exercises with heavy books (ha), and some pilates. and thursday was a rest day apparently--i don't remember why i didn't make time for exercise. but overall, i've done pretty well with my exercising this week, and i'm pleased. i MUST walk tomorrow. i know i'm going to be sore.
