cereal.
Grace and I eat breakfast almost every morning together. This morning was no different (this is not actually THIS morning...I'm still not able to eat much because I've got what Grace had...). I planned to just take one picture of us eating together and then we got carried away and had fun taking pictures of every thing from the pouring of the cereal (I love that I have a picture now of Grace overflowing her bowl) to the eating.
Then Gracie decided she was done and left me sitting there alone then I just messed around...too long...and realized it was time to take Gracie to school.

LOVE the self portraits.....am inspired to do the same....I like the documentary approach....i fear my children will appear to be raised by wolves with no mom ever in the shot! or at the very least wolves with a good camera! :-)
Question: how do you set your shots up? Just curious....because I know busy morning routines you dont have alot of time to fuss with the camera, plus in the true essesnce of getting the shot of the every day....tripod??....stack of books??? self timer?...shutter release remote? please share! :-)

Davina - you have inspired me also to be in more pics...I just have one son and like Rebekah said...I don't want him to look back at pics and think Mom was never around! In fact...the other day we had snow in Wilmington (ginormous deal) and I handed the camera off to my neighbor and got in pics with my son and even made "snow angels"..(hard to do with just a dusting..lol). I had the same questions as Rebekah about how you set these up...
