Karly and Curtis...The Warehouse Wedding
best. party. in. my. life.
This is what my kids said on the way home from this wedding. They couldn't stop talking about how it was the best party they had ever been to...and really it was a kid's dream. There were mini hamburgers, mini hotdogs, blue cotton candy, cupcakes, ice cream, lime rickeys, wedding sunrises, and so much more. There was dancing and great places to sit.
Karly's family has become very dear to me over the years. I've been lucky enough to get to be the photographer for all of their daughters' weddings. One of them just had a sweet new baby girl and another is past ready to have her little boy. I've watched another daughter's little girl just grow up so much every time I go to a family event. It's been such a gift to be part of their lives. In so many ways they are loving, giving, creative, full of energy, and happiness.
Dad to this household of women, Kevin, is so sweet to each of his girls. I love to see him dance with each of his girls at their weddings and this night was no exception. It was a tender and bittersweet moment for him.
Karly and Curtis were so happy all day. Through out the night I saw them on the dance floor together and with nieces who couldn't get enough of spinning and showing off their moves on that super cool white floor.
Not only did I get to hang out with a wonderful family I also got to work with Matt...amazingly creative, out of the box, and all around fun to bounce ideas around. He designed and coordinated everything for this wedding. All of the details, furniture, all of it (and most of it I couldn't even fit on this post to do it justice)...all Matt. He's incredibly talented. I've loved every chance I've been able to work with and see him (send me an email to get his info).
So this wedding was perfect. Perfect company. Perfectly fun day. And perfect couple. What fun.
perfect. LOVE.

You've done it once again! Thank you for letting me hand over my design in perfect faith that you would capture details I never knew existed. Thank you for being an artist and not just a photographer. Your work is incredible and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos.
Davina...anyone can take a picture, you, however captured the feeling of the day. You have an incredible gift. Looking at the pictures bring back the memories of this amazing day, but also the thoughts, the feelings and the spirit felt. Thank you!
