Perfect snow.

The first snow of the winter season always feels so magical.  This first snow was not a disappointment.  It was the perfect consistency for snowball fights and building giant snowballs.  The kids and Mike tried to make ginormous snowmen that were bigger than they are...by that time I was inside warming up Gracie's little popsicle toes and fingers.

magical. LIFE.

I adore the first snow. We've had about five so far these year, but they've only lasted 2 or 3 days, and have been slushy and awful!! But I still love it. We actually got a White Christmas this year! It was fantastic. Enjoy your snow. :)

SNOW! So fun. Our Snow in WA melted into rain, but it stuck for enough time to give us that magic feeling of a White Christmas. Popsicle toes on little ones are so so so cold.
I love your giant snowman, and the grass below where it was rolled up.

We had a White Christmas and a white day after Christmas and day after day after Christmas. In fact, it's snowed 6 out of the last seven days. Our first snow was over 2 weeks ago. I love it! I love that is snows and covers up the messed up snow from the day before...I do wish we weren't so used to it here in Utah, though. There are never snow days...we always had snow days when I was growing up in the D.C. area. It was wonderful The world would stop for days at a time because of snow storms. No school. No work. No anything. It was magical.

Davina, just going through everyones blogs since coming home . I really enjoyed getting to know you and all your input on getting our lives back and your insight! I love the photo of your daughter in the tutu at the table decorating gingerbread houses and also the one of her in the snow with her pink coat and tutu with her brother in the background! great photojournalistic shots!
Look forward to watching you and the others in the coming years! Thanks for giving so much of yourself to us at the workshop! Katherine
