THE big F-I-V-E Party. Part I.

strawberry shortcake princess flowers and butterflies party.

Grace has been looking forward to this party since...hmmm...her last birthday.  She's been making serious plans since Christmas and asked everyday when we would make invitations for her party.

The thing is that we don't have big birthday parties every year.  We have fun family parties every year for each person's birthday but the big parties with friends and hoopla only happen on your 5th birthday, 10th birthday, and 15th (or 16th) birthday...so they are highly anticipated!

This was Miss G's 5th birthday.

We looked through books and got some ideas and then came up with this design together...we made a great inside and then got so excited about packaging them up in their little boxes that we forgot to take a picture of it.

(more pictures to come...)

party. LIFE.

Fantastic invitations! And Happy Birthday to Grace! Bea is right behind her; we will be celebrating this Saturday. I love your idea about the big parties on the 5th, 10th, 15th birthdays. We only do family parties also, although we allow them to invite one guest. It's been working out well until now. Natalie will be turning 7 in June and she is quite stressed about only choosing *one* friend.

Gracie,

WOW!!! What great creative minds you and your mother have to create such beautiful Birthday Invitations. They are such bright beautiful colors and I love the beautiful boxes you put them in(they are just like the one you sent Grammy for her birthday). We are sure your friends loved getting your beautiful invitations. We love all the pictures Mom took (especially where you are smiling over all your invitation). We look forward to seeing the rest of your birthday pictures. Love, Grammy and Grandpa
