Move it Monday. Week 4.
this is it.
For those who have been being consistent try pshing it a little harder this week. Not so that you feel like quitting but if you have been putting off counting your calories on mydailyplate.com then try doing it. If you've been walking and telling yourself as soon as you've gotten in a little better shape you'll start running then maybe try a light jog this week for part of your walking. If you've been swimming trying doing an extra lap this week. You can do it. Just take it up a little notch and push yourself beyond where you've been.
**Make sure to post in the comments how you're doing**
Next week I'll announce who wins the contest this month! Yay!
real. LIFE.

Another week is gone already! "Ohmtheck"! Well anyways, I did my 30-45 min a day exercise is week. I did miss one day but I knew I was going to miss Friday so I planned for it and did extra laps in the pool and cycled extra miles earlier in the week. I started cycling in addition to swimming laps. I didn't know cycling was so fun and as an added bonus I get to watch baseball while I cycle. :) My goal this week is to talk to a trainer about how to use the ab machines.
Thanks for getting this contest going Davina! It has really helped to have a weekly goal.
I am doing the circuit 30 minutes a day (except Sat and Sun) I rest on Sat and Sun but have been walking on those days. So far 2 lbs a week are melting. Yay! I need to do the mydailyplate I have been just writing things down. Alaina, wow, I want to try cycling.
My husband was gone this week, which made it much more difficult to go running at night. However, I packed the two little ones into the double stroller and had my 5 year old ride his bike and we went to the park a few times over the weekend. I even jumped onto the playground and hit the slides, monkey bars and swings like a kid. It was fun. I'm so thankful to be healthy and able to be active with my little ones.
I was MUCH better on my eating this week and I even trashed anything unhealthy from our cupboards to get rid of the temptation. That has been a HUGE help.
The gym was good today. I wish I had more endurance. I think that's what I'll work on now. Pushing myself just that little bit extra that makes the difference.
Hey there! I just wanted to let you know I have been inspired by you to get off my butt and do something.... a friend and I have been walking 40 minutes a day! (I can't believe how fast it goes when you have someone fun to talk to) We got a fancy schmancy coffee maker and I quit drinking coffee outside the house (aka no more Starbucks) and less food. I am proud to say I am 15lbs down since I started paying attention. Thanks for the kick in the pants :)
This post has really helped me be consistent. I'll be 40 this July and well it was definitely time to do something. I'm trying to incorporate weights into the equation. Upper body strength has always been my weakness.
