little note: my computer is having some big time issues that I have to fix when I get back to the mainland. Until then, thanks to all of my beautiful friends for letting me post their images here....
I have to say that the opening night of the workshop was pretty emotional for me. Looking out over the 40 women that had responded to the workshop in less than three minutes made me so grateful that we had been given the gift of addressing the need...a huge need...in the industry. Everyday, women are coming into photography thinking that they are doing something they really love and then quickly realizing that the love has now over taken the rest of what is important to them. My life has been so blessed by each of the women who came to Bald Head Island last week. The opportunity to sit one on one with so many of these sensitive, aware, talented, caring, and intuitive women blessed my life in ways that have changed me...have made me a better woman, stronger photographer, and more aware mother and wife.
Thank you all...you have left a mark on my life and I am so grateful.

HI Davina, I'll tell you the same thing I wrote on Millie's blog, I CANNOT WAIT to hear more about how the workshops are going. I would have loved to have join you all and am so anxious to hear about future events. You all are such inspiring women and have such a great sense for the business, I can't wait to be able to sit one on one with any one of you to really learn what it takes to be successful in a male dominated industry. You guys rock. Just by having this event, you've inspired me. Have another one soon!

I am soooo jealous! I just heard about this wonderful conference recently and would have loved to have been there. Your words meet the deepest places of my heart. Addressing the fact that "our love of photography ends up taking over our lives" is so needed! Wish I could be there with all you beautiful women. I will be waiting for all the updates. Love the images so far! Be blessed and enjoy your time! Maybe next year for me.
