New. Studio.

Yes. This is my new studio space...in my house. I'm sure many of you are saying, "But you said moving your studio out of your home was the best thing you've ever done." Too true! It was. I've also said, "Put it out there, what you need in a studio, and it will come to you. It may take a while but it will come to you." The spaces I've seen here are $2000 a month. That's way out of the range of what I feel would be a good ROI.
So. I'm going to set up shop in my home for now. I'm actually pretty excited about it because it's being painted (I'll show you a sneak peek of the paint before the week is out BUT I won't be showing you my finished studio for a couple of weeks.) It's going to end up looking really great!
Also, when I was in my home before I don't think I was taking my studio seriously enough. I didn't get everything looking great or organized like a I was a for real business woman. That's what made the biggest difference when I moved my studio out of our house and into a studio space.
I'm taking myself and my studio and my business much more seriously now...we'll see how THAT looks in my home now.

Yay for you! That is a really big room...about twice the size of my new home office. I think you're going to love it!
I can't wait to see the color.
how exciting! with the kids getting used to their new surroundings, it will be nice to have mom around all the time :)
It's going to looking beautiful. It's going to be convenient and with all the key items you have there it will be wonderfully decorated and efficient.
Kelly, I'm really excited, too. I think it's going to be much more fun than my last home studio/office. :)
Robin, I'm hoping that the mom and photographer thing will work out well with my studio in the house. A lot of it will come down to sticking with a schedule for actually working in my studio and then not letting myself float back in their all day....
Ingrid, thanks so much for the vote of support. You are awesome to always have such wonderful things to say. Thank you!
The color looks awesome!
