July 4th Party Time

A few years ago we had a super fun Fourth of July party and we had planned to make it an annual event...this year the kids decided it would be a great idea to revive the idea. They were so excited to get the planning going and we keep coming up with more things to add to the upcoming party. We started with some awesome invitations. We designed an idea and then everyone gathered around the table in the coolness of the indoors to get them made. Emmett took the responsibility of designing the uber cool envelopes for the invitations since we couldn't find the perfect fit for our way too awesome invites.
We had so much fun doing the invites we could just not have the party...ummm..well, maybe the kids think we should still have the party. lol...we ARE having a dunk tank (the most highly anticipated activity at the party). Anyway...check out our fun and the great design work they each did.

I think the fourth of July party sounds like so much fun. I want to know more information. I will share with you the fun "Pea Party" that Austyn and I hosted last week, we decided to make it a traditon too!!!

Becky, you probably have big plans for the fourth but I would LOVE for you and your whole family to come by!!! Please let me know if you can come! We are having a dunk tank (which my kids cannot wait for us to go pick up) and a movie after dark, great food, yard games, sparklers...it's going to be so fun and it would be even better if you could make it! I would love to hear about the Pea Party. The title has me so curious.

Rebekah...I know! Gracie is so stinkin' cute and has a personality that is so big and fun and endearing and wonderful. Ummm...of course, I'm her mom so I might be a little bias. lol.

The pitures are great and the idea for the party is terrific-whish we could be there--however, my "Fear" is that I know exactly who Emmett would put first into that dunk tank!!! All this just means you all will have to become creative all over again to think up another party theme for when we come to visit; something like: "Here come da' King"! Love you lots and miss you all very much. Grandpa (and Grammy too, of course!)
