Opera Singer

I totally love opera.  (In fact, ages ago I was a voice performance major in college and my voice is classically trained...crazy, right?)  I especially love to hear Pavarotti sing Nessun Dorma.  It's an amazing experience and always stirs intense emotion in me to hear his voice soar over the words and notes.  The piece is moving when someone with an incredible voice sings it.

When I clicked on the link about Paul Potts singing I had no idea what to expect.  The moment his voice began to soar I was entranced and moved by the power of his voice and the humility of his life.  Here are some of the clips of  his performances.  Let me know what you think.

ok- I totally posted my comment for this under the bridl show title (the set up is a little confussing I guess!) I am not sure if you can move it from one to the other.

But I was saying that I just love this...him, his voice and his story! :) I am such a dork

Alison, no way! I love it. So many people are trained classically and you just don't know it. Did you know that Anne is/was, too? And congrats on your super sweet new little baby girl!!!

Millie, opera for me isn't an everyday kind of listening pleasure but if you get the right pieces they can just make you soar along with them. Paul is not even close to the voice of Pavoratti...if you love Paul you will absolutely adore Pavoratti!

Tawnya, I know. His unassuming ways are so captivating.

Shalise, I love that the world has had the chance to hear something that may have never been shared to such a vast audience.
