Ummm...so a little warning here...this couple is HOT.  Amber and Gavin were so absolutely fun to hang out with.  They flew me to Denver to get some really wonderful, totally them shots for their get to know you shoot.  When we met together for the first time about a month ago we all got so excited about all of the possibilities.  We had a long list and only got to part of it because we were having so much fun (we should do another shoot some time so we can do the rest of the list!). 

Amber and Gavin love Denver.  There are so many places that they love to go and they really enjoy the urban feel that is in Denver.  We wanted to make sure and capture how much they love the city.  When I walked into their home (that they've made look incredible with an ecclectic mix of beautiful art and bold colors...amazing) I knew we had to make sure and shoot in their red enamel cupboards kitchen.  They've put so much work and heart into their home, I love that we got to shoot there.

From there we went to a gorgeous new loft that is incredible.  Their friend, Tom, gave us great access to make some incredible images there.  And, of course, we had to shoot in the bathroom...those are a little too hot for the blog, though! lol. 

We headed downtown where Gavin wanted to make sure we got at least one picture with the famous Denver sign.  While we were there Bret at Jerri's Tobacco Shop came out and asked if we wanted to shoot in their humidor room.  We couldn't pass up the opportunity and had some fun there.  Our last stop was Lucky Strike were we grabbed some dinner before heading back to the airport.  All the while we had so much to talk about from kids to business to fun.

Amber and Gavin, thank you so much for a really wonderful time.  I'm so glad that I got to go with you to some of your favorite places in Denver and for your great hospitality while I was there.

Anne Ruthmann is an incredible photographer!  When we were at the Foundation Workshop back in February we drew names from a hat and then did a quick shoot of the person we chose.  I chose Anne!  She is spends a lot of time on the computer and laughs a lot.  She is a wonderful person with such great energy...and she is so funny!  I love that I know her and that she is a friend of mine.  I'm very blessed. 

Wolfenbarger Family.

We packed the day full of things to do.  We hung out at their house for a while and got to know each other to start out.  Lily is such a sweet little baby and has such gorgeous blue eyes.  Will is such a sports nut.  He knows pretty much everything there is to know about the NBA playoffs.  Carlie is such a cutie and a collector.  When I saw her colorful purse and bag collection I knew we had to get her wearing them.  I love her sweet little personality that came out.  Taylor is an absolute horse lover.  When we finally got to her horses at the end of the shoot she was in heaven.  We also got to go to the golf course and do some putting around.  I love that Will is always so excited that he runs after every putt. 

The Wolfenbarger's are such a sweet family.  I'm so glad I got to hang spend some time with them and be part of all of the things that they love.

Fun.

Maria and Umair have so many wonderful little traditions.  And Umair is quite the romantic.  Maria told me about all of the wonderful things that Umair has done to celebrate their love.  In another shoot we're going to cover all of the wonderful traditions that they've been celebrating...cookies, flowers, dancing, and fast red sports cars.  So watch for that!

Maria made Umair a scarf with a Bird of Paradise flower on it.  Ever since then he always buys her Bird of Paradise flowers.  And a shop keeps them in stock just for him...and that's just the beginning of the romance!  Maria loves to ride bikes and be outside.  Umair goes along because he loves her.  (Romeo at Ye Olde Fashion Bike Shoppe on Historic 25th Street loaned us the very cool bike!)

Maria and Umair are beginning a business that is completely new in Utah.  Building ecological homes called Green Homes.  For part of our shoot we were looking for some images that would be perfect for their new business life.

Mikki and Braydon

Mikki and Braydon are such a fun couple.  We got to talk a little about photography and a little about life and took some really HOT pictures.  I loved hanging out with them.  Just being with them we got a great energy going and then came up with even more really cool ideas for another shoot with them (so watch for those).  They totally love to read and as embarrassing as it is to admit we (Mikki and I) found out we both follow very closely what's happening with Brad and Angelina.  I do have to say that the 'babe magnet' car is not their car...we just saw it and thought it was pretty funny.

I loved shooting with you two and can't wait for our next shoot together...I've even gotten more ideas since we talked. :)
