Matt and Freda.
new family.
Freda and Matt have had a long road together and it started long before they had the chance to say "I do." After a very difficult and complicated year of establishing a home together, medical issues, and all of the other crazy things that happen when you bring love into the equation they finally had their moment to look into one another's eyes, see deeply, and say 'yes' to more of the same. More of the complications and at the same time more of the joy, the exhilaration, the crazy times and the quiet times...together.
Freda and Matt had a beautiful day. I was so excited to be with them and experience the blending of their love and their families. Seeing Freda look into Matt's eyes trying to convey how intensely she felt about him and then in the next moment seeing her dance like the joy would come out her fingertips was a gift to see.
Here's to more joy, more dancing, and more intense, crazy, and quiet times!

Freda and Matt's wedding day started off with one thing after another going a little haywire while Freda and Matt just tried to go with the flow and stay relaxed. By the time the ceremony rolled around every thing was going perfectly. I'm very excited about their pictures and just wanted to post something really quickly. Make sure to check back very soon and there will be more to see of Freda and Matt.

melissa. juan. wedding.
sweet. day.
From the moment I met Melissa and Juan I thought they were wonderful. I was so grateful that I got to be at their wedding! When I read Juan's questionnaire and saw the sweet things that he wrote about Melissa I knew that we were going to have fun together. He adores her and it shows in everything he says and does. They couldn't keep their eyes off of each other through out the entire ceremony. As they walked down the aisle Juan scooped up Melissa and carried her down the aisle and everyone loved it.
During the reception Juan's dad's band played and got everyone on the dance floor. When the night came to a close too quickly, Melissa and Juan rode off around the city in a horse drawn carriage. As we were walking back to our car we saw Melissa and Juan again in their carriage going down the city streets!

Liberty. Nick. Wedding.
.
dancing. fun.
Liberty and Nick have been so wonderful to spend time with. One of the reasons that we connected so quickly was because Liberty is an artist. She wanted art for her wedding and we had fun talking about the essence of her wedding day and the excitement of ideas.
We met up with Liberty while she was getting her hair done by Nick's mom. As soon as she was ready we went with her to meet up with Nick so they could have a quiet lunch together at Olive Garden before the day got going with all of the festivities.
Liberty and Nick's wedding was so fun! Liberty had Polynesian dancers that danced traditional dances and as they danced everyone threw money at them, put money on them, or put it at their feet. They had colorful dresses and beautiful dances. Everyone really had a great time showering them with money. At the end of the night the dancers counted the money and delivered it to Liberty. She was completely surprised by the amount that her guests had so generously given.
We also did a little paint with light on the last image...
