Crazy day.

On the same day that Mike was presenting his paper at the University we also had the Gateway Wedding Show to rush back to.

Thankfully, Shalise, was there to talk to all of the brides that came by our booth.  I'm so grateful to her for being there!  I know that she had to make some sacrifices and move her schedule and plans around in order to go to the show and be an amazing advocate for me.  As I was racing to the show I called Shalise for an update as to how the show was progressing.  When I heard how well things were going and what a fabulous job Shalise was doing for all of the brides that were stopping by I was extremely impressed.

I'm so grateful to have Shalise as part of my business.  Her personality, warmth, kindness, and graciousness in managing the studio have been an absolute godsend this past year.  Her loyalty and optimistic outlook have been a gift to me and to my family, to the studio and our clients.

Thank you Shalise and thank you everyone who came out to the show.  It was especially fun seeing friends/clients who have weddings coming up.  I love chatting and getting to hear about all the milestones that happen all of the time.  I am so blessed....I know I keep saying that in my posts...but I AM!!

Oh!  So this could be a game...can you find the five things that are different between the picture above and the picture below?

great. LIFE.

Published.

Mike is a really wonderful writer and submitted a number of papers while he was doing his Master's degree.  They were published in college books and I was very excited.  He works hard at his research and writing on something original.  His work is really insightful and I'm always impressed with how concisely and can say things that would take me pages to say.

Two Saturdays ago he presented a paper that was published in a book and I'm really proud of all the work and dedication he has had to the work he's been doing.  His openess, perspective, and ablility to build bridges between people is something that I have always admired about him.  When I read his papers and listen to his ideas I'm reminded of so many of the reasons that I love him.

You're amazing, Mike.  I'm so blessed to have you in my life and I'm so proud not just of the things you've done to change lives in your teaching and writing but of so many other things that leave me in awe.  Your willingness to forgive, to be in the moment, to love, to give, to support, and to understand a person from their perspective are just some of the things that I love about you.

Your life is a gift to me.
